PRI (Postural Restoration Institute)

Postural Restoration is a revolutionary approach to physical medicine and rehabilitation. It is an advanced physical therapy approach that integrates every system of the body and accounts for our God-given asymmetrical design. It includes an in-depth biomechanical assessment and takes into account any underlying neuro-muscular patterns that may be contributing to complex and chronic problems.

AFS (Applied Functional Science)

This advanced education comes from the world-renowned Gray Institute. The focus is on three-dimensional functional movement and integrating the whole being into the principles, strategies and techniques used in physical therapy. Gary Gray, PT, the founder of AFS, describes it best: “The convergence of Physical Sciences (the world we live in), Biological Sciences (the miracle of the human body), and Behavioral Sciences (the power of the mind and spirit) is the DNA of AFS.”

Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic therapy (water physical therapy) is a powerful option to help treat swelling, pain and degenerative arthritis, including spinal decompression for bulging discs. Athletes can get back in the game faster with aquatic/pool therapy. Arthritis, fibromyalgia and chronic pain sufferers can move easier with the properties of buoyancy and hydrostatic pressure. Our Swimex® Therapy Pool offers you customized therapist-guided sessions that reduce pain and increase healing as part of a comprehensive recovery strategy.

Post-Surgical Rehab

Every post-surgical patient needs to do physical therapy. Post-op swelling changes the neuromuscular patterns around a joint which can lead to compensation and more problems down the road. We can help you restore normal motion, strength and function no matter what type of surgery you’ve had. Sometimes we utilize our aquatic therapy pool to help speed up the recovery process after surgery, since buoyancy unweights the joints, and hydrostatic pressure helps with swelling — making it easier to move in water in those first few weeks after surgery.

Balance & Dizziness Center

Balance and fall prevention is something every senior should take seriously to help prevent falls. We offer an annual program to monitor your gait and balance in order to ensure you never have problems across your lifetime. Dizziness and vertigo are also all-too-common symptoms that our specialty-trained therapists can help you treat in order to ensure your world stops spinning.

Women’s Health

Every new mom needs this program to restore the pelvis after pregnancy to prevent problems down the road. In addition, our specialty-trained women’s health therapist treats pelvic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, prolapse and every pregnancy challenge. We offer targeted and evidence-based care to help each woman achieve the strength and function to live her best life … without having to “just live with it.”
